In the series of things felt, I also had to show you this yesterday ba s Christmas I made for Alex when he was 2 or 3 years.

Each piece has been drawn, then cut out the felt of the chosen color. Then, each was individually embroidered on the lower blanket stitch. I stuffed some small elements to make them more clearly. At the time, all this took me quite some time and patience ... I still remember ... But I'm happy to review each year ... I only regret that at this point, I do not know the wool felt which is more beautiful and gives a nicer too ...

The Advent calendar Waldorf schools follow the order of appearance of elements on Earth. Thus, the first Sunday of Advent, the blue angel appears. All the following week, they are small minerals installed in small pouches that will be installed on the table: stones, shells ...

The second Sunday, the Blue Angel is replaced by the angel and the red plants make their appearance: trees and flowers made of felt, twigs, dried fruits ...

I purposely ordered a large felt pieces of blue wool, which I cut into 4 strips for embroidery dates and house the little surprises. I used a metal wire DMC had made me see all the colors ... Each calendar item was designed and then cut and pasted some carefully ... All this took me quite some time, but every year, I confess that I still find beautiful ...
