Already one year, "Black Ink" takes stock

With some delay, I see that the time has come for me to celebrate the first anniversary of this blog, and I want to make a small assessment ... Statistics. Regarding a more personal record, I must say it is not easy to stick to a sustained pace of publication, and in recent weeks, I admit to being somewhat stalled ...

Since April 7, 2009, "black ink" had a 18.4 average attendance of unique visitors per day. What is not huge ... But it should be noted that the number of visitors increased gradually as the blog is enriched with new items so that out of the last six months, the average of 24.5 unique visitors per day. However, attendance is also dependent on the frequency of publication, so that since January, the number of visitors has stagnated somewhat ...

These visitors came from 110 countries worldwide , Uruguay in Iran ... In the top 10 below, there are no surprises the main French-speaking countries plus the United States. Note that five of them are African countries (in red).

It is also interesting to see what reviews of books most viewed. In the top 5 below, we notice two things:

1) The classic of African literature, studied in many African countries are particularly in demand - for students? This is the case Tips Wood God and The Dark Child.

2) The only two tests which have been discussed on this blog, The Status of Black Accomplices and the unspeakable , are placed second and third positions. Hence suggesting that the reading test is too laborious to not simply read a summary on the internet, there is not that I prefer not to cross ...
